No – with standard mattress thickness, the oscillating core is not noticeable. It is usually positioned just beneath the pelvic area, where the mattress compresses less than under the shoulders or hips.

The recommended position is just below the buttocks to the lower thigh area. It can be slightly adjusted to suit personal comfort – the only important rule is to avoid positioning it near the head, neck, or upper back.

The oscillating core should be installed crosswise to the bed’s length. Only this way can the wave motion distribute evenly across the entire mattress. A lengthwise installation would not provide the intended effect.

No – this is not necessary. sinwave® operates entirely passively. Falling asleep during the session is a positive and welcome side effect. At the end of the session, sinwave® automatically switches to standby mode: the display dims, and the connection between the control unit and oscillating core is completely powered down. A short tap is all it takes to reactivate the system.

3.12 Can I sleep during the session?
Yes – this is absolutely fine. sinwave® works fully passively, so you can simply relax or fall asleep. The “Relax” program is specially designed to support falling asleep and improve sleep quality. At the end of the session, sinwave® automatically enters standby mode: the display dims and the system shuts down fully. A gentle tap reactivates it if needed.
